These terms govern use of the LawWorld AI website, AI legal workspace, intake, counsel matching and contract-drafting functions. Formal lawyer services are also governed by a separate engagement agreement.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and legally capable. If acting for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority and that submitted facts, contacts and materials are lawful, accurate and relevant.
2. Different roles of platform, AI and counsel
LawWorld AI provides technology-assisted intake, research, review, drafting, workflow management and counsel matching. AI is not a lawyer and cannot appear, sign, file with a court or regulator, promise an outcome or monitor legal deadlines for you.
A lawyer-client relationship begins only after conflicts are cleared, appropriately licensed counsel accepts the matter and an engagement agreement is signed. Before then, AI output and matching are not formal legal advice or a promise of representation.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform for unlawful conduct, impersonation, infringement, malicious code, access-control circumvention, extraction of system secrets, API abuse, or representing an unreviewed AI draft as formal legal advice.
4. Deadlines and emergencies
The platform does not assume responsibility for limitation periods, filings, appeals, hearings or closing deadlines. For detention, asset freezes, imminent court or regulatory deadlines or personal danger, contact licensed local counsel or authorities directly and do not wait for AI.
5. User material and confidentiality boundary
You retain rights in lawfully submitted material and grant only the processing permission needed for selected functions. Before conflicts clearance and formal acceptance, do not assume every input is protected by legal professional privilege; materials remain protected under the privacy notice and security controls.
6. Counsel matching and engagement
Ranking by jurisdiction, practice, language and profile fit is a recommendation only. Selection does not transmit files, mean acceptance or lock a fee. Scope, provider, fees, confidentiality, liability and disputes are governed by the separate engagement agreement.
7. Drafts, downloads and reliance
Downloadable Word files are preliminary AI-assisted work product unless expressly marked lawyer-reviewed. Verify parties, amounts, dates, jurisdiction, facts, citations and execution requirements and obtain local counsel review before signature, filing or reliance.
8. Fees and availability
Free triage does not make later services free. Paid work begins after scope, price and contracting entity are confirmed. We use reasonable efforts to maintain availability, but models, networks, databases and infrastructure may be interrupted.
9. Responsibility and governing documents
To the extent permitted by law, AI output is not warranted to be complete, current or suitable for undisclosed facts. Mandatory liability cannot be excluded. The engagement agreement prevails for legal services; other disputes follow the law and mechanism stated by the actual operator or contracting entity.
10. Changes and termination
Functions may be suspended for security, compliance or abuse. Material changes receive notice and may require renewed acceptance. You may stop using the service and exercise deletion or withdrawal rights under the privacy notice.
